Eleven grandchildren, Ruben Quesada, Mark Quesada, husband of Jesenia Quesada, Jonathan Quesada, Gabriel Quesada, Abby Lilley, Christopher Walsh, Justin Walsh, Daniel Walsh, Shawn Smith II, husband of Riley Smith, Scott Smith, husband of Cassy Smith, Eve Smith. In addition to Phyllis, Jim is survived by his four children, Mary-Teresa Quesada, wife of Ruben Quesada, Ann Walsh-Lilley, wife of Mark Lilley, James Edward Walsh III, husband of Christine Walsh and Susan Walsh Smith, wife of Shawn Smith. They were blessed with being together for more than 59 years of marriage. Jim was the loving husband of Phyllis-Ann. Upon retirement, Jim was self-employed in his own business. He also preformed research for the NJ Department of Education. He taught technical electronics at both the high school and college level. While at NYU, Jim earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and a Master of Arts degree in Education.Jim used his engineering degree as an electrical engineer and an educator. The brotherhood of these men held a special place in his heart. Jim was an active member of this organization his entire life. He was initiated into the esteemed Military Honor Society Pershing Rifles, Company E Eight Regiment in 1959. While at NYU he was a member of the Air Force ROTC program. This student military organization sparked his interest in his country and the armed forces.Following high school, Jim attended New York University. In addition to his academic accomplishments, Jim was a member of the Civil Air Patrol and drill team. His uncle Edwin Quirk also lived with his family and adored him.Jim attended Bryant High School in Queens, NY, where he was a member of the ARISTA National Honor Society. Born in Queens, NY, he was the son of the late James E. James Edward Walsh, Jr., 81, formerly of Spring Township and Nineveh, NY went to his heavenly home on February 24, 2022.
